El pasado martes 24 de mayo de 2022, Ehsan Ullah Khan se ha entrevistado con la Vicerrectora de Relaciones Internacionales y Cooperación, la Dra. Ileana Greca, para retomar las conversaciones iniciadas antes de la pandemia covid-19. Tras exponer su trabajo durante más de 50 años en su lucha por erradicar la esclavitud infantil en Pakistán y poner en valor la figura de Iqbal Masih, niño esclavo, liberado y asesinado por las mafias del país, ambos han acordado iniciar varias líneas de colaboración, entre las que se cuenta la publicación en lengua inglesa de un libro sobre la lucha contra la esclavitud infantil, la propuesta de un proyecto de cooperación internacional en torno a la esclavitud infantil y los derechos de la infancia, y la posibilidad de participación en una fundación de nueva creación dedicada a estas causas.  

Summary of visit to the University of Burgos

This morning, Ehsan Ullah Khan met with the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Cooperation, Dr. Ileana Greca, to resume the talks  that had started before the covid-19 pandemic. After exposing his work for more than 50 years and his fight to eradicate child slavery in Pakistan, he highlighted the person of Iqbal Masih, a child slave, freed and murdered by the country’s mafias. Both Ula Khan and Greca have agreed to start several lines of collaboration, such as the publication of a book on the fight against child slavery (in English), the submission of an international cooperation project on child slavery and children’s rights, and the possibility of participating in a foundation of new creation dedicated to these causes.
